Popular Hangout Place in Town
What is the popular place for most of Korean (regardless ages) to hangout? Coffee shop...Here, people like to drink coffee or tea alot and for doing that, they usually going to coffee shop. Compared with my country, there are many coffee shops here (from the international chains such as Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, The Coffee Beans, Caffe Bene) and international chains own by Korea company (Two some place, Paris Baquette, Tous les Jours, etc) and maybe everyone like to drink coffee no matter how old are you (well maybe we can exclude children here but then they can drink yougurt there). Other type of coffee shops are coffee shop own by famous people (celebrity or idol) which most of the time overflow with customers (most of them are fans of the owner) that come from many countries.
Some of coffee shops open for 24 hours and that will full of students who come there to study in the night time (I am one of those students) or people who just have fun in the night club and need place to get sober. But this kind of coffee shops usually have little bit expensive price.
Maybe just because I rarely visited coffee shop before, so I think that many coffee shops here are very comfortable so that many people like to spent their time hanging out there with their family, lover, or friends. But you must be extra careful don't spend most of your money to come to coffee shop (but this lifestyle can be addictive), that's not good for student pocket lifespan.
