NORAEBANG - where you can find your wildest personality

What is one of great invention or culture or what ever you call it that I found here? Yeah...that is noraebang 노래방 or karaoke room. What is it? Or you may said that that just a karaoke room. But, in case of me...the effect of going to noraebang is awesome. Don't worry about your voice, you are there not for practice to sing but you are there coz you are need a place to scream, to laugh, to exercise, to curse, to hang out, or just to waste your time.

Farewell party at noraebang is a must 

I like the noraebang better compared with karaoke room in my country because basically you are not paid for your room hourly but at least 2 and half hours. in some case, if you are the frequent customer and the owner somehow like you, you can have extra time (my record was 5 hours and then gave up coz my voice was gone). Also, in case you are a foreigner like me who can not speak Korean well, learning how to read Korean by singing Korean song is also helpful. When I was preparing to take National Korean exam before, my friend and I frequently visited noraebang and believe me or not, my friend and I got highest score compared with other friends from same study group. 

Other thing is, somehow you can find out the true or other personality of someone at noraebang. Some of my friends suddenly changing to someone else at noraebang, from very introvert person to very cheerful one. Or if you cannot handle your stress any longer...hurry up...go to noraebang and scream as loud as you can coz nobody will care...

But little bit caution : some of places have different kind of noraebang so called noraejujom 노래주점 which include another service like 'the ladies' for your companion so be careful if you don't want to end up at that place.
